Set Boundaries Like a Boss

I set my boundaries like I set my goals—clear and clean,
Not everyone gets a backstage pass to what I mean.
My yes is intentional, my no is calm and kind,
I don’t owe the world access to my peace of mind.

I smile without guilt, I pause without fear,
Not every demand deserves my “right here.”
I’ve learned that silence can answer just fine,
And over-explaining is a waste of good spine.

I’m warm, not available on twenty-four seven,
My rest is sacred, pre-approved by heaven.
If it drains me dry, I gently decline,
Self-respect now headlines my daily design.

I don’t burn bridges, I set the tone,
Teach people how to treat me—grown and known.
Boss moves are quiet, steady, and true,
Boundaries don’t push people—they reveal who’s who.
