Which celebrity would you love to meet, and what would you talk about?
If someone gave me a golden ticket to meet any celebrity in the world, I wouldn’t need Google to help me decide. My answer would be Shah Rukh Khan — the man who taught an entire generation that love needs courage, dreams need stubbornness, and arms stretched wide can become an international emotion!
Honestly, I have rehearsed this meeting in my head. I would walk in confidently, smile gracefully, and say, “Hello, Shah Rukh!” Then my brain would probably resign, my vocabulary would disappear, and I would stand there smiling like someone who had just seen a lifetime supply of books on sale!
Once I recovered, I wouldn’t ask him about his expensive cars or luxurious lifestyle. I would ask how he manages to turn rejection into determination, humour into charm, and ordinary moments into extraordinary memories. From Swades, I would ask about finding purpose; from Chak De! India, about resilience; and from Dear Zindagi, about understanding ourselves. After all, even the King of Romance must have days when life refuses to follow the script!
Of course, I couldn’t leave without asking him to recreate his iconic pose. Imagine telling my family, “I went to meet Shah Rukh Khan,” and returning with a photograph where I look like a frightened schoolgirl standing beside a perfectly composed superstar!
And before leaving, I would remind him of his famous words from Om Shanti Om: “Picture abhi baaki hai, mere dost!” Because life, like cinema, always has another scene waiting to surprise us.
Perhaps I would thank him not merely for entertaining millions, but for reminding us to dream fearlessly, laugh through difficulties, and keep our hearts young.
