The Secret Library of Advice

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

They say advice is like free Wi-Fi—available everywhere, but only a few connections truly work. Over the years, I’ve collected little nuggets of wisdom that sparkle brighter than motivational posters in office corridors.

One of the earliest? “There is a smile after every tear and there is day after every night.” Simple, but powerful. It reminds me that no bad moment has a lifetime warranty.

Then came the classic: “Nothing is constant but change.” Ironically, change is the only thing that doesn’t change. Like the time I thought my metabolism would stay friendly forever—spoiler alert, it didn’t.

Another gem: “Intelligent people believe in ignoring.” At first, I thought it meant ignoring my alarm clock. Turns out, it’s about not letting every silly comment or pointless drama rent space in my head. Training your mind to ignore is like upgrading your mental spam filter.

I also learned that “You don’t have to be perfect, because whatever you can do, you are doing great.” Honestly, this one saves me on days when my cooking looks like a science experiment but still manages to feed hungry stomachs.

Over time, I added my own lessons:

Comparison is the thief of joy. Someone will always have a better house, job, or hairstyle. But hey, only you have your quirks.

Laughter is therapy without side effects. A bad day can shrink faster when you laugh at it.

Gratitude multiplies happiness. Counting blessings beats counting wrinkles.

As someone wisely said, “Advice is what we ask for when we already know the answer but wish we didn’t.”

🌟 Thought to ponder: Maybe the best advice is not the one you hear, but the one you finally decide to live by.
