The Sweet Symphony of Noise and Silence

What’s your favorite time of day?

If someone asks me about my favorite time of day, I could pretend to be poetic and say sunrise, or intellectual and say tea-time, but let’s be honest—my real answer is when I am with my kids and when I finally get to sleep.

“Kids turn ordinary minutes into extraordinary memories.” That’s exactly what happens in my house. The chaos of toys scattered everywhere, the endless “Mammaaa…” calls, and the sibling squabbles—all somehow melt into the sweetest symphony. Their laughter is like a free therapy session, their hugs a kind of invisible recharge button. Even their silly jokes, which often don’t make sense, are funnier than most comedians on TV.

And then comes sleep—the other jewel of my day. Oh, blessed sleep! It’s like a secret meeting with peace, hidden under a blanket. That magical moment when the house is finally silent, my brain gets a chance to power down, and dreams invite me for adventures without needing a ticket. As someone once joked, “Sleep is like Wi-Fi. You don’t realize how much you need it until you lose the connection.”

So yes, my favorite times are a blend of noise and silence, chaos and calm, little hands tugging at me and pillows embracing me. Life is about this balance, isn’t it?

Thought to ponder: Maybe happiness isn’t found in grand events, but in the small hours we treasure—between giggles and goodnight snores.
