Dogs or cats?
They say, “Cats rule the internet, but dogs rule your heart.” And I agree—wholeheartedly and waggingly.
There’s something about dogs. Maybe it’s the way they act like you hung the moon just for them. Or the way their tails wag so violently at your sight that you fear for nearby furniture. Dogs don’t do drama. They do devotion. They don’t purr when pleased; they jump like you’ve returned from war—even if you just stepped out to bring the mail.
“Cats bring a sense of royalty to your home. Dogs bring a party.”
If you want calm, grace, and the occasional judgmental stare, sure—go feline. But if you’re ready for slobbery kisses, furry cuddles, and emotional support with a side of zoomies, welcome to the dog club.
My childhood dog, Roy, once tried to ‘protect’ me from the TV villain by barking fiercely at the screen. That’s love. Or confusion. But both are endearing.
And unlike cats, dogs will never knock your mug off the table to prove a point. They’ll probably try to bring you the mug… and trip over their own feet in the process.
“A dog is the only being on earth that loves you more than it loves itself.” – Josh Billings.
They don’t care if you’re rich, famous, or in your pajamas all day. They just care if you’re there.
Thought to ponder:
In a world that often feels distant and transactional, be like a dog—loyal, loving, and delightfully goofy without needing a reason.

so true.
