Soul GPS: When Google Maps Can’t Get You to Grace

How important is spirituality in your life?

Spirituality is not a Sunday-only outfit I dust off once a week. It’s the comfy pajamas of my soul — worn, lived in, and essential for survival. It’s the unspoken playlist humming in the background of my chaotic life — soft, steady, sacred.

You see, while some people start their mornings with affirmations or avocado toast, I begin with a little soul stretch — a quiet “Good morning, God. Please don’t let me yell at the kids today.” Sometimes, I fail. Okay, often🤭. But that’s where grace kicks in like divine Wi-Fi — always available, even if the signal is weak on my end.

“His mercies are new every morning.” – Lamentations 3:23

To me, spirituality is not about being perfect or pious. It’s knowing I can be a holy mess and still be held. It’s in the little things: when I find peace in the middle of noise, or feel comfort when everything feels like it’s falling apart — that gentle reminder:

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid… for the Lord your God goes with you.” – Deuteronomy 31:6

I’ve learned that my soul needs checking in more often than my Instagram. Spirituality helps me do that. It’s the divine app that doesn’t drain my battery but restores it.

A Thought to Ponder:
If your soul sent you a notification, would you swipe it away — or finally open it, sit with it, and let it speak?

Because sometimes, the most powerful connection is the one you can’t see but always feel — especially when you’re lost… and He still knows the way.
