Who do you spend the most time with?
I spend most of my time juggling two chaotic, lovable worlds—my kids and my work. One is full of deadlines, targets, and coffee; the other is bursting with crayons, giggles, and suspiciously sticky fingers. Together, they make my life look like a sitcom written by a very sleep-deprived comedian.
My mornings begin with boardroom voices in my ears and tiny hands tugging at my shirt. “Mumma, can I have choco spread on dosa?” says one. “Can you mute your mic?” says my boss😜. I multitask like a ninja—minus the stealth and grace.
“Raising kids and handling work is like being in two Zoom calls at once—only one is real, and the other throws tantrums.”
Work teaches me patience. My kids test it.
Work gives me growth. My kids give me grey hair.
Work rewards me with appraisals. My kids reward me with spontaneous hugs and melted chocolate in my purse.
“Life isn’t about balancing work and kids. It’s about gracefully dropping balls and picking up glitter instead.”
Do I get tired? Oh yes. But when my child randomly says, “You’re the best Mom ever,” or my boss says, “Great job today,” I feel like I just won two Oscars in one night.
I don’t choose between the two. I dance in the chaos. Because this messy, loud, biscuit-crumb-filled life?
It’s mine. And it’s beautiful.
Thought to ponder:
Are we truly busy… or are we just blessed in disguise?

nice one
