Career Plan? I Prefer a Joy Map!

What is your career plan?

When someone asks, “What’s your career plan?” I smile politely and reply, “I plan to be joyfully confused forever!” While the world races in fast lanes and five-year goals, I prefer wandering in colorful bylanes, sipping curiosity and doodling dreams.

Honestly, I don’t have a blueprint etched in marble. I’m content where I stand—like a tree that’s not trying to be a bird. But here’s the twist: my hobbies whisper to me every day, “Turn us into something magical.” One day it’s writing, next day it’s storytelling, then suddenly it’s painting rocks or making my kids laugh till their tummies hurt.

As Oscar Wilde once said, “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.” So why chase someone else’s ladder when I can build a treehouse of my own?

Imagine turning your love for gardening into a podcast: “Plant Talks: Secrets from the Soil,” or baking cookies shaped like planets called “Intercookie-lactic Delights.” Why not? Hobbies have the power to rebel against boring.

I believe success isn’t a destination; it’s dancing barefoot in your own living room to a playlist you made. “The best career plan is one that lets your soul wear pajamas and still feel accomplished,” said… well, me.

And here’s a final thought to ponder:
What if your greatest promotion in life isn’t a title, but the ability to wake up excited, even on a Monday?
