Life Without These? Unthinkable, But Not Impossible!

What are three objects you couldn’t live without?

If you asked me what I absolutely can’t live without, I’d say air, water, and Wi-Fi (because let’s be honest, no internet feels like modern-day exile). But when it comes to material objects, the truth is—everything has an expiration date. Things wear out, get lost, or become obsolete, and somehow, life goes on.

But that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t miss certain things terribly if they disappeared. Imagine waking up to a world without coffee—chaotic, right? Or having the perfect thought at midnight but no tab to jot it down—tragic. And let’s not even talk about the sudden heart attack that comes with misplacing a phone for five whole minutes.

So, while I can technically live without these things, I’d rather not test my patience. Here’s my not-so-essential-but-absolutely-cherished list:

1. My Coffee & Tea – The Elixir of Sanity

Mornings without coffee? Evenings without tea? Sounds like a horror movie I don’t want to star in. These magical potions fuel my day, lift my mood, and help me function like a decent human. And let’s be honest, coffee is not just a drink—it’s a hug in a mug.

2. My Tab – My Writing Companion

Writing is my escape, my passion, my way of capturing fleeting thoughts before they vanish into the abyss of forgetfulness. My tab is where ideas take shape, where half-written masterpieces (and plenty of abandoned drafts) live. Without it, I’d feel like an artist without a canvas, a musician without an instrument. As Maya Angelou put it, “There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.”

3. My Phone – My Digital Lifeline

My phone is not just a phone—it’s my alarm clock, my camera, my entertainment center, my lifeline to memes, and my emergency “Google-it” assistant. It reminds me of birthdays (because let’s be real, my memory won’t), keeps me connected, and even serves as my shopping cart when I accidentally buy things at 2 AM. As someone once joked, “If you think nobody cares if you’re alive, try missing a few WhatsApp messages.”

A Thought to Ponder

Objects don’t define us, but they do add comfort and joy to life. If I ever lost these things, would I survive? Of course. But maybe it would be life’s way of reminding me to slow down, adapt, and rediscover the simple joys beyond screens and caffeine. Though, let’s be real—losing coffee would take some serious emotional processing!
