Coffee for Hustle, Tea for Balance—Why Choose?

What is your favorite drink?

If you ask me how many cups of coffee I drink a day, the answer is simple—until my mom shouts. That’s the universal caffeine limit, isn’t it?

Coffee has been my first love, my wake-up call, my liquid motivation. “Behind every successful person is a substantial amount of coffee,” and I couldn’t agree more. The rich aroma, the way it hugs my senses in the morning—it’s nothing short of magic. Even my friend, fully aware of my obsession, gifted me a coffee maker for my birthday. Best. Gift. Ever. But let’s be real, no machine can replace the warmth of the coffee made by my mom.

And yet, life takes unexpected turns. One day, I swapped my coffee cup for a teacup, and just like that, tea crept into my heart. “Tea is the elixir of life,” said Lao Tzu, and I’m starting to believe it. While coffee fuels my chaos, tea brings balance. One sip, and it whispers, “Breathe.”

So, here I am, a coffee lover who’s learning the art of tea. Some days, I need coffee’s fire; other days, tea’s serenity. It’s a beautiful duality—caffeine-fueled energy and mindful sips of calm.

Thought to Ponder: Is life about choosing between coffee and tea, or is it about embracing both—one to chase dreams and the other to pause and enjoy them?
