Describe your most ideal day from beginning to end.
Ah, the perfect day—where alarms don’t jolt you awake, kids don’t scream like sirens, and work magically finishes itself. But let’s dream a little, shall we?
I’d wake up happy and relaxed, like those people in wellness commercials. A warm hug to my kids—assuming they’re not wrestling or demanding pancakes at dawn—followed by freshening up and grooving to some music while making breakfast. “The way you start your morning sets the tone for your whole day.” So let’s pretend I start mine with peace and not spilled milk.
A refreshing walk follows—yes, the one I plan every night but somehow never take. After breakfast, I dive into work, finish on time (because deadlines in this dreamland are kind), and even squeeze in a call with friends without saying, “I’ll call you back” and never doing it. “Time spent with good friends is never wasted.”
By the time my kids return, I am the ever-energetic, patient mom. We play, laugh, and tackle homework without anyone dramatically collapsing. Family prayer, a hearty dinner, bedtime stories, and finally, the sweet embrace of sleep—minus midnight “I’m thirsty” calls.
Of course, somewhere in between, I sneak in time to write my daily prompt because “A day without writing is like a meal without spice.”
Thought to Ponder: Why does my ideal day sound so achievable yet remain as rare as a unicorn sighting?

very nice experience
