Time-Travel Treasures

What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever found (and kept)?

“Memories aren’t just kept—they’re lived, each time you hold them close.”

It’s amazing how certain things—small yet priceless—hold an entire world of memories. For me, it’s my parents’ 1982 wedding invitation. We found it during a declutter session two years back when my cousin handed it over, a piece of art from a time when words held magic and style was timeless. Elegant, trendy, and filled with meaningful words, it feels like a letter from a world where love was simple, deep, and lasting.

Another cherished piece? A soft toy dog, gifted by my husband when we were dating. It says, “You are mine,” and somehow, it still does. That little stuffed friend has journeyed with us through thick and thin, reminding me of our first steps into love.

And perhaps the most humbling treasure of all: my children’s first footprints, given by the hospital, tiny imprints of life’s greatest gift. There’s a pure, overwhelming joy in those tiny marks—almost like holding their future in my hands.

“Old paper, soft toy, tiny toes,
Each a memory, love that grows.
Treasures small, but heart-made wide,
Moments kept safe, forever inside.”

“A simple find can hold a thousand smiles, a thousand whispers of ‘Remember when…?’”

It’s funny how the coolest finds make life warmer.
