What does it mean to be a kid at heart?
Innocence bright and dreams so high,
A world with no limits, just open sky.
Letâs live like kids, both bold and free,
For lifeâs pure joy is all we need.
Imagine a time when your biggest challenge was figuring out how to hide an extra cookie from your mom or deciding between crayons and markers for your next masterpiece. Childhood was a world of pure, unfiltered magicâa life filled with creativity, joy, and absolutely no deadlines (except bedtime, of course). The concept of KIDâKeep Innocence, Dreamâreminds us of those carefree days when the world was a giant playground, and we were the fearless explorers.
As kids, we didnât worry about the future. Bills? What were those? Mortgages? They sounded like something you might play with in the mud. Our only âstressâ was squeezing in five more minutes on the swings or deciding on the next big adventure. Life was a blank canvas, and we were the artists, armed with limitless imaginations and zero self-doubt. Who else could turn a cardboard box into a spaceship or a couch into a pirate ship with just a bit of imagination?
Being a KID meant finding adventure in everything. A puddle wasnât just waterâit was a splash-filled wonderland. Grass stains were badges of honor, and every scraped knee was a battle scar on our mission for fun.
As I think back to my own childhood, I remember those summer days when my only goal was to play. I spent countless hours in the forest helping my grandmother. It was pure joyâbuilding little houses for dogs, playing by the riverside, and letting the day pass without a single care other than getting home on time. I cherish every one of those moments.
Now, as I watch my kidsâthe Gen Z generationâI see their childhoods are a little different. But at the core, the spirit is the same: imagination runs wild, and the sky is still the limit.
So why not bring a little bit of that magic into adulthood? Keep that innocence alive, dream without limits, and approach each day with the enthusiasm of a kid. After all, lifeâs a lot more fun when weâre willing to see the world with a bit of childlike wonder.
