You have three magic genie wishes, what are you asking for?
When I was a kid, there was this TV show, Shaka Laka Boom Boom, where the main character had a magical pencil. He’d just put it near his ear with a book, and bam! All the book’s knowledge would download straight into his brain. Naturally, I tried it too. I tried everything—stacking books under my pillow, sleeping with them on my head—but all I woke up with was a stiff neck and the same empty brain space.
And now, you’re telling me I’m Aladdin with a real-life genie? Oh, the possibilities! So here’s how I imagine it…
One fine morning, I rub my eyes and—wait—did I just rub a lamp instead of my face? A magical swirl of glitter and smoke appears, and out pops a genie! He grins, arms crossed, and says, “You get three wishes, no strings attached!” My mouth drops open. Is this real?
Time to think fast. First wish: “Can we rewind the past a little, Mr. Genie?” I imagine life with a rewind button—like a DVR for those “What was I thinking?” moments. The genie raises an eyebrow, chuckling. “Rewind to fix some mistakes?” he asks, smirking. He’s probably seen past-me’s bloopers and knows I could use a second shot at a few things. But hey, don’t we all?
Second wish: “Good health for me and my family.” I emphasize good. The genie snaps his fingers, grins, and… hands me a list of vegetables. Not exactly the magic I was hoping for, but if it means fewer doctor visits, I’ll take it. Now, every time someone sneezes, I won’t be over there acting like it’s an emergency.
And finally, my third wish: I lean in and whisper, “Vitamin M, please. You know, a little financial freedom.” I’d love my bank account to look like my grocery cart—overflowing! Because let’s face it, money may not buy happiness, but it sure buys peace of mind…and maybe even a new lamp for the genie’s cousins.
But these are just fun, dream-like wishes. In the real world, the only genie we’ve got is good old hard work, maybe with a sprinkle of smart moves. Because, at the end of the day, survival isn’t about magical wishes—it’s about skills, determination, and maybe just a little bit of luck.

soooooo nice.
