Describe a family member.
My family, my lifeline, my heart’s gentle beat,
Each soul a world, each presence complete.
How can I name just one, describe one face,
When each fills my life with love and grace?
My mother, my rock, who stood beside,
When love was tested, she did not hide.
Against all odds, she believed in me,
Her hands now care for my children, free.
My husband, my friend, my love so true,
The best choice I made, a life we pursue.
Through ups, through downs, he’s been my guide,
Forever, together, side by side.
Three beautiful children, my joy, my soul,
In their laughter, I find myself whole.
Yes, the mess can stir my ire,
But when they’re gone, my heart’s desire,
Is their voices, their steps, filling the space,
For life feels empty without their embrace.
My family, my lifeline, my reason to be,
In their love, I am forever free.
