Cosmic Adventures on a Pajama Budget

How much would you pay to go to the moon?

When I was young, the moon was near,
A glowing orb in midnight’s sphere.
I’d float and spin through silver streams,
Moon dust swirling in my dreams.

But now they say, “Come visit soon!”
Book your ticket—see the moon!
I laugh and think, “Maybe someday,
After Earth’s charms sweep me away.”

For there are spots with vibrant scenes,
Lush mountains, lakes, and forests green.
Why fly up high with cosmic schemes,
When Earth has magic beyond my dreams?

So let me drift in lunar light,
Where moon rocks gleam in quiet night.
Someday I’ll soar past Earth’s domain—
But tonight, I’ll dream that lunar plane.
