What could you do more of?
If you ask me honestly, I don’t want more noise, more chaos, or more running behind things. What I want to do more of is living a simple, beautiful, peaceful, happy life with people who value me.
Life is already complicated enough. Why add extra spice to a curry that tastes good as it is? Sometimes I feel we run after things that don’t even matter in the end. Money, status, recognition—they all come and go. But love, peace, respect, and people who genuinely care—these are the treasures worth holding close.
“Simplicity is making the journey of this life with just baggage enough.”
I have learned that happiness doesn’t live in shopping malls or Instagram likes. It lives in the small silly moments—a child’s giggle, a friend’s unexpected call, mom’s food, or even sitting quietly and watching the sunset. These little joys are like secret gifts wrapped by life itself.
Of course, life is not always roses. Sometimes it gives you thorns too. But instead of crying over the pricks, I try to smile at the flowers. “Happiness is not something you postpone for the future; it is something you design for the present.”
And let me add some humor—people can be like Wi-Fi. Some connections are strong and keep you going, while some drain your battery faster than you can blink. So why not choose wisely whom you connect with? After all, who wants to live life buffering all the time?
I believe in doing more of the things that bring calmness to my heart. More laughter, more gratitude, more hugs, more peace. Less drama, fewer complications, no unnecessary stress. The recipe for happiness is actually quite simple—value those who value you, and let go of those who don’t.
“The happiest people don’t have everything, they just make the best out of what they have.”
So yes, if you ask me what I’d like to do more of—it’s not running faster, not climbing higher, but simply living deeper.
