What are your daily habits?
Every day begins with the ultimate battle — me versus the snooze button. It’s a fierce fight of wills. The alarm rings, I tap snooze. It rings again, I tap harder. “One more minute,” I whisper — the biggest lie I tell myself before sunrise.
Eventually, gravity loses, and I stumble out like a groggy superhero whose cape is still in the laundry. The next mission? Operation: School Run. Between lost socks, missing ID cards, and that one child who suddenly remembers a project due “today only,” mornings feel like a mini Olympics.
“Behind every successful school-going child is a slightly disheveled parent in pajamas.”
After the storm settles, I attempt to eat healthy. A spoonful of chia seeds, a sprinkle of guilt from yesterday’s samosa, and voilà — wellness served with a side of wishful thinking.
Then begins my “Work From Home” saga — which is really just juggling deadlines while dodging flying toys and snack requests. One moment I’m on a call sounding professional, the next I’m mute, mouthing “Stop jumping on the bed!” to my tiny co-workers.
“Work-from-home tip: Your child will always sense the exact moment your boss begins to speak.”😀😀😀😜😜
Evening is my favorite act — I return not from traffic, but from tab chaos, to be a jungle gym for my kids. Their laughter, mess, and questions remind me what real work feels like.
Then comes my secret joy — writing my blog. It’s the quiet space where my thoughts get to wear pajamas and dance barefoot. It’s where I tell the world that “yes, ordinary can be extraordinary.”
Thought to ponder:
“Some days are scrambled eggs and spilled milk — but if you look closely, they’re still breakfast worth waking up for.”
