Describe one of your favorite moments.
Some moments are like bubble wraps—pop one, and a hundred memories spill out.
It’s almost unfair to ask for a “favourite moment” when life serves an entire buffet. There are mornings that smell like hope, afternoons that taste like chaos, and evenings that feel like a lullaby. But then, some moments… they sparkle. They stand taller than the rest. They tap you on the shoulder years later and say, “Hey, remember me?”
Let me tell you about two such glittery gems from my treasure box.
🎬 Scene 1: The Love Confession — July 23, 2004
It was no Swiss Alps, but our hearts were definitely doing a dance number. No Karan Johar direction, no SRK arms wide open, yet the moment my husband and I confessed our love felt like a full-on Bollywood climax.
“Love isn’t always thunder and lightning. Sometimes, it’s a silent monsoon that soaks your soul before you even notice.”
That date, 23rd July 2004, is etched in my heart like a song lyric you never forget. No background score, no slow-motion running—but all the feels. Now when I recall it, I blush like a teenager who just discovered a Shah Rukh Khan scene on YouTube.
It was awkward, thrilling, funny, and magical all at once. We weren’t even holding roses. Just hearts.
🎳 Scene 2: Bowling Over Stress
Fast forward to a very adult version of joy: one random day after work, me and my friends ditched the to-do lists, forgot about “Mummaaa, where’s my socks?” cries, and hit the bowling alley.
Lanes were slippery, the pins were mocking us, and our form resembled spaghetti noodles—but oh, the laughter! That day, stress took a backseat, and friendship drove the car. We didn’t win any trophies, but we won something rarer—peace.
“Motherhood is a full-time job, but a break with friends is the unpaid internship your soul desperately needs.”
There we were—moms, wives, working women—living our mini rebellion in rented bowling shoes. For two hours, we weren’t anyone’s support system. We were simply us—loud, goofy, human.
☕ And So…
Life isn’t a 3-hour movie. It’s a long series with many episodes—some cliffhangers, some thrillers, some comedy, and a few romantic flashbacks that make you pause and smile in the middle of doing dishes.
We all have these unscripted moments that never trend, never go viral, but live rent-free in our hearts forever.
“Sometimes, your favorite memories aren’t photographed. They’re just deeply felt.”
💭 A Thought to Ponder:
In chasing the big moments, don’t forget the real ones. Sometimes, love is just a shared smile. Sometimes, freedom is a poorly thrown bowling ball. And sometimes, the best scenes of your life aren’t cinematic—they’re just yours.
