When Life Writes a Better Script

Is your life today what you pictured a year ago?

A year ago, I pictured me,
Calm as the waves on a tranquil sea.
Practicing skills, staying on track,
Consistency strong, no turning back.

“Goodbye, procrastination!” I firmly said,
Yet some tasks still linger, unmade bed.
Life isn’t quite what I had planned,
But it’s shaped by God’s guiding hand.

Blessings abound, I truly agree,
Even if calmness sometimes escapes me.
His plans unfold, better than mine,
Like a surprise twist in a storyline.

So here I stand, with gratitude vast,
Embracing the future, learning from the past.
Though life’s not perfect, I can’t complain—
After all, who’d want a life too plain?
